Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Cronity collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Cronity website and service.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and authentication metadata used to sign you in.
- Monitoring data: check-ins, status pings, timestamps, and any payloads your scripts, jobs, websites, or agents send to Cronity.
- Alert routing: destinations you configure (email addresses, Telegram chat IDs, etc.) and delivery attempts.
- Usage data: basic logs needed to operate the service, detect abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
How we use your data
- Operate the monitoring, alerting, and reporting features you configure.
- Send transactional messages such as verification, password resets, and alerts.
- Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and secure the service.
- Improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
We do not sell your personal data.
Subprocessors
Cronity relies on a small set of trusted providers to run the service, including:
- Cloud database and authentication infrastructure.
- Transactional email delivery for verification, resets, and alerts.
- Optional messaging integrations (e.g. Telegram) that you explicitly enable.
Data retention
Monitor events, alert delivery records, and incident data are retained for a rolling window (currently 7 days) to keep the service fast and predictable. Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time to remove your personal data.
Security
Data is stored on managed infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, and access is scoped per user through row-level security. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please use strong, unique passwords and keep your integration secrets safe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of this directly in the app or contact us for help.
Children
Cronity is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the service.
